Kim Kardashian Shares a Series of Heartwarming Photos from a Memorable 4th of July Lake Getaway with Her Children, Following Her Touching and Emotional Tribute to a Close Friend Who Recently Passed Away, Giving Fans a Glimpse into Her Family’s Special Holiday Moments

The SKIMS co-founder is mom to daughters North and Chicago and sons Psalm and Saint

Kim Kardashian is sharing a peek into her 4th of July celebrations.

The SKIMS co-founder, 44, shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram on Wednesday, July 9, as she rounded up her time spent during her annual friend trip to a lake. In one photo, Kim could be seen posing with her sons Saint, 9, who held a sparkler, and Psalm, 6, as well as daughter Chicago, 7.

Other shots show her kids playing with their friends, the various pies they had, and Kim’s sister Khloé Kardashian, 41, who wore a fake mustache and posed with her own kids True, 7, and Tatum, 2, as well as niece Dream, 8, and Kim’s sons.

“Lake 2025,” Kim wrote in her caption.

This year’s lake trip was especially emotional for Kim, who revealed earlier this week on July 5 that a core member of her friend group, which she often refers to as the “Lifers”, had died. The reality TV star shared that her friend Lindsay May Palevsky died on Nov. 2, 2024 from a rare form of cancer.

“It was just your birthday and I know you never liked to make a big deal of it, but Happy Heavenly Birthday, Lindz 💜🦋” Kim captioned a series of photos with her late friend.

“Nothing really captures how quiet and empty our lifers chat feels without you in it,” Kardashian wrote. “I know you’d probably roll your eyes at me posting anything — especially since you didn’t really even have social media — but I couldn’t go through this lake trip without feeling you everywhere, and I needed to share it.”

“The lake was your happy place. It made you feel lighter, healthier … you were you,” the SKIMS mogul wrote. “It’ll always be our favorite lifers tradition because it’s where we spend time with all of our kids being together and get real time with each other without any outside noise. We felt your absence this year in every sunset, every laugh, every quiet moment.”

Earlier this summer, Kim celebrated her daughter North’s 12th birthday. To mark the occasion, Kim, shared several unseen photos on Instagram taken throughout North’s childhood.

She shared images of herself kissing North’s cheek as a baby, as well as a playful snap of her daughter as a toddler. North could also be seen playing with various instruments and holding a toy microphone.

“My little baby North turns 12 years old today,” Kim wrote in her caption. “We were looking at pics today together and laughing so hard, you were so small.”

She added, “It’s been the most special calling being your mom. I love you forever and got you forever my bubs.”
