Country Signer Lainey Wilson Got Her Dream Ring

Lainey Wilson has been dating her boyfriend, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, since 2021. However, the couple only went public in 2023 when they walked the red carpet at the ACM Awards.

The couple just got engaged, which Wilson has been eagerly anticipating.

However, she jokingly mentioned that she might have to propose to him if he didn’t get down on one knee. It did not come to that because Hodges proposed on Feb. 12, 2025.

The caption of their sweet Instagram post was simple and heartfelt: “4x4xU forever.” This is an adorable reference to Wilson’s hit song. See the post below.

Lainey Wilson’s Unique Ring

Wilson once described her perfect ring, and Hodges made her dreams come true.

The singer sat down for an interview with Kelly Sutton and Amber Anderson of Country Heat Weekly. During the interview, the hosts asked Wilson what she would like in an engagement ring.

Lainey Wilson, laughing, said,

“I don’t care what shape it is, but I want to be walkin’ with a limp. I want to have to pick my arm up like this.”

One of the hosts agreed and said, “If you can’t see it from a mile away, it’s not big enough.”

Considering the size of the singer’s gorgeous ring, it is safe to say she was not joking.

The couple’s jeweler recently posted on social media, sharing the beautiful ring in full detail. The company posted, “We were truly honored to craft something so special for a love that lasts forever! Lainey said yes to Devlin, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!! It was a true joy to be a part of their exciting new journey together.”
