Hollywood is in uproar after a series of explosive emails leaked, allegedly revealing the existence of a secret group of influential celebrities opposed to the rise of the “woke” movement in the entertainment industry. According to anonymous sources, this alliance includes film legends such as  Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Clint Eastwood  , and even  Vince Vaughn , figures known for their conservative views and skepticism of the dominant ideology in Hollywood.

These emails, supposedly exchanged via a secure network, were nevertheless intercepted and disseminated on the dark web. Their content reveals heated discussions about the growing politicization of film and television, where the ideological agenda seems to have taken precedence over art.

In a message attributed to  Mel Gibson , we can read:

“We used to make films to tell stories, for art. Now, everything has become a propaganda tool. It’s time to bring cinema back to what it was.”

Even more surprisingly,  Harrison Ford , who one might have thought to be distant from this debate, also expressed his concerns in another email:

“I have nothing against diversity or change, but what I reject is the imposition of a single way of thinking and the censorship of divergent opinions.”

In addition to these iconic film figures, younger actors and directors are also said to be involved, although they are reluctant to speak out publicly for fear of reprisals. These include  Chris Pratt , who has previously been criticized for his lack of commitment to certain progressive causes, and  Mark Wahlberg , who is known for his commitment to traditional values.

Another surprising revelation concerns  Keanu Reeves , who, although always discreet about his opinions, allegedly wrote in a supposed email:

“Why can’t we just make movies without a political agenda being imposed on us?”

Following this leak, the industry’s reaction was swift. Many critics and filmmakers denounced this group as  “reactionaries”  incapable of accepting the new reality of cinema. One major media article called them  “nostalgic for a bygone era, incapable of adapting to Hollywood as it is today.”

However, on social media like Twitter and Reddit, the perception is quite different. Many internet users defend these actors and describe them as  “the last guardians of true cinema” .

Although no one has yet publicly commented on these revelations, the email leak has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry. If this “anti-woke alliance” is real, could it lead to a shakeup in Hollywood?
