Meghan Markle Denies Being an Influencer—But Her Instagram Comeback Says Otherwise!

Meghan Markle, who recently returned to Instagram, explained why she doesn’t consider herself an influencer.

“I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder,” the Duchess of Sussex told People in a new interview published Monday.

“And if the brand ends up influential, then that’s great,” she added.

Markle, who stepped away from Instagram before her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry, expressed how much the platform has changed in recent years.

“When I was last on social media, Boomerang was the thing,” she said while laughing.

“Instagram Stories didn’t even exist. So it’s been a minute.”

For more than a year, the “Suits” alum did not post on her page and had an image of pink flowers as her profile picture.

In the footage — which was shot by the Duke of Sussex, 40 — Markle had her back towards the camera as she ran barefoot in the sand.

The “Harry & Meghan” star then stopped and traced the numbers “2025” in the sand before giggling and jogging away.

Since then, Markle has been posting regularly on her page to promote her forthcoming Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan,” and her new brand, As Ever.

For Valentine’s Day, Markle posted a rare video of Lilibet helping her cut strawberries into hearts and place them on cream cheese-covered bagels while Archie opened a sliding door so she could bring the yummy snacks outside.

Over the weekend, the former “Deal or No Deal” case model posted a clip of her daughter playing Candy Land with her “auntie” Serena Williams.
