Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov may not have reached the pinnacle of his sport, but he’s certainly made headlines with his extravagant lifestyle and impressive dating record. Currently ranked 16th in the world, Dimitrov even climbed to third place in November 2017. Despite never securing a Grand Slam title, he has delivered some remarkable performances, defeating big names like Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.

Dating history

After being linked to a series of glamorous stars from showbiz and sports, all eyes were on who Dimitrov would date next. Fans got their answer at the Madrid Open when it was revealed that the 34-year-old is now dating Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez, 35, known for her roles in films like Baby Driver, Hobbs and Shaw, and Godzilla vs. Kong.

Gonzalez was spotted courtside, cheering on Dimitrov during his win. The tennis star even received a peck on the cheek from Gonzalez after his third-round victory over Nicolas Jarry.

She appeared supportive throughout the match, and they have since posted a photo together on social media, seemingly confirming their relationship.

Dimitrov’s previous romantic escapades include a relationship with five-time Grand Slam winner Maria Sharapova from 2012-2015. After that relationship ended, he briefly dated Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, who had previously been in a long-term relationship with F1 star Lewis Hamilton.

In 2023, rumours circulated that the Bulgarian was dating Romanian actress Madalina Ghenea, who had previously been linked with Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio, who has an estimated net worth of £225m thanks to performances in iconic films such as Titanic, Wolf of Wall Street and The Departed.
