A source also told NBC News that Ben and Jen — who have respective net worths of about $150 million and $400 million — do not have a prenup, meaning any money they earned individually during the two years they were married is community property.

The legal documents state that Jen is not asking for spousal support from Ben and has requested that he be denied the same support from her.

Though Jennifer was the one to file to end the marriage, a source told People that Ben showed no “interest in making their marriage work.”

“She’s very disappointed and sad,” the insider said of Jen. “But Ben hasn’t given her any signs that he wants to continue their marriage… It’s gotten to the point that she just needs to look out for herself.”

Over the last few months, J.Lo has been seen on numerous outings with Ben’s children. On Aug. 5, an insider told Entertainment Tonight that Ben and J.Lo had been holding off from making the divorce official to ensure a “seamless” transition for their respective kids.
