Jennifer Lopez: The love tattoo for Ben Affleck has disappeared
“Bennifer 2.0” is definitely history. The divorce between Jennifer Lopez (55) and Ben Affleck (52) is underway. How much Jennifer has come to terms with the issue was once again evident at the Toronto Film Festival: Jennifer Lopez has removed her love tattoo for Ben!
During the Toronto Film Festival, Jennifer Lopez was the center of attention. When she walked down the red carpet in a stunning floor-length Tamara Ralph dress embroidered with silver mirrors and held together only by velvet bows, all eyes were on her. And the attentive fans and paparazzi saw something special: the singer has removed the love tattoo that she once had inked as a manifesto of her love for Ben Affleck.
Another sign that nothing can be saved in this relationship. This is also demonstrated by the fact that Ben Affleck did not travel with her to Toronto. He stayed away from the premiere of “Unstoppable”, the new film with Jennifer in the lead role. He is the producer of the drama, but he did not want to experience either the cinematic or a private drama on site – and avoided his still-wife.
Jennifer Lopez hides love tattoo: The “infinity” only lasted two years
So far, neither Ben nor the 55-year-old have commented on the reasons why their marriage broke up. But they must be serious, otherwise Lopez would hardly have resorted to such a drastic statement. Her sensational dress gave viewers a deep look. Especially at both of her waists. And there was previously a love tattoo on her lower left ribcage. An infinity sign with the names “Jennifer” and “Ben” on either side of the symbol, an arrow also connected the two names. The two had each had a tattoo in February 2023 to celebrate their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple. “Eternal devotion” was what J.Lo wrote under an Instagram post with the picture of the tattoo.
The “infinity” only lasted two years, now the tattoo is gone. And that also applies to love between the couple, who have already been “Hollywood’s dream couple” twice. After their first, two-year romance broke up in early 2004, they found each other again in 2021, got engaged in April 2022 and finally married in July 2022.
Already in May, Ben Affleck moved out of the shared villa
Exactly two years later, the relationship broke up, according to divorce papers filed by the actress in August. According to them, she states the date of separation as April 26, 2024. Exactly on their second wedding anniversary (July 16), “Us Weekly” confirmed that Jennifer wanted to file for divorce, thus putting an end to the rumors that had long been circulating in Hollywood.
Affleck had already moved out of their shared house in Los Angeles in May. In July, it was put up for sale on the real estate market.
