The Milwaukee Bucks cruised to a fourth straight victory, all concluded with double digit leads. The last one was not a good win though and head coach Doc Rivers recognizes it.

The Bucks are now 7-1 in their last eight after winning against the visiting Philadelphia 76ers.

The team finished the first quarter with a 31-20 lead but only managed a tie score in second and third quarter which meant it was still anybody’s ball game. By fourth quarter, the performance was shaky but they still settled for a 33-28 to get the 123-109 victory.

The stars came out for the Bucks to grab the win against a team that was without their top stars.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 34 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and had six assists. Damian Lillard scored 25 while Khris Middleton had 13 points and has the team’s most number of assists with eight.

Doc Rivers agree it is an ugly win

There were comments after the game that this was the roughest win the team has had in the four-game home stand and Rivers agreed.

He is not too bothered by it though. He thinks they had the composure to keep the odds on their side, something he’s not sure he saw in the first months when they were struggling.

“Yeah. Early in the year, we may have lost that though. Tonight, we win the game and that’s what you have to do. You gotta stack up wins when you can and we’re doing that,” he told reporters post game.

The Milwaukee Bucks now embark on a busy second half of January where they will play five games in seven days after a two-day rest.

They will travel to New Orleans to play the Pelicans and go back home to play the Miami Heat the next day.
