Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo are the top duo in scoring in the NBA right now but the Milwaukee Bucks still struggle offense-wise.

The latest setback was against the Golden State Warriors as they fall to a 93-104 defeat after mounting a come back in the third quarter. The loss is a follow up to the beatdown they received from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
So what’s ailing the Bucks? For Lillard, it is the lack of aggressiveness.
“We just gotta be better,” Lillard told reporters via The Athletic.
“Just be more intentional about what we’re doing on offense. We gotta do things with more force, more pace. We gotta help each other out. We gotta screen for each other. We gotta cut hard. We gotta be aggressive and attack. That will help us.”

What Lillard brought up is the same thing Giannis mentioned after the loss to OKC.
Damian Lillard calls on team to have ‘intentions’
The offense was sluggish most of the time in the first half against Golden State who did not have superstar Stephen Curry. They started slow and then finished the first half down by 14 points. Main suspect is the second quarter where they scored just 17 points.
They impressively took back the lead by the third quarter through Kyle Kuzma’s personal scoring run but the heat cooled down after that.

In the fourth quarter, they were limited again to 17 points. They were unable to score in the last four minutes when they were down by just three points.
Lillard calls on team to be intentional when it comes to their offensive sets.
“I think right now our offense is not forceful enough. It’s not intentional enough. Each part of our stuff, we gotta have pace. We gotta hit people. We gotta do those things consistently and right now, we’re not doing it well enough to have an effective offense.”
The Bucks will return to action tomorrow against the Los Angeles Lakers.
