Odell Beckham Jr and Travis Kelce could cause an awkward reunion between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift. This is because Odell Beckham Jr. is hoping to join Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, for the 2024 NFL season.

Last year, Beckham Jr. signed a deal with the Baltimore Ravens worth $15 million for one year. The star receiver, who has been in the Pro Bowl three times, hadn’t played in the NFL since he hurt his knee in Super Bowl LVI. This injury made him miss all of the 2022 season before he joined the Ravens.

The Ravens got to the AFC Championship Game but lost a close match to the Chiefs. Beckham Jr didn’t have a great year by his standards, catching only 35 passes for 565 receiving yards and scoring three touchdowns. Because of this, the Ravens have decided to let him go and will release him after June 1.

Like last season, Beckham is reportedly looking for another big-money deal even though he didn’t perform well in 2023. The 31-year-old is probably looking for a final big payday before he retires, but teams are unlikely to meet his demands because of his history of injuries, his age, and his recent form.

However, the Chiefs are definitely looking for a new receiver this offseason, even though Patrick Mahomes has led them to two Super Bowl wins in a row. The Chiefs’ receivers struggled throughout last season until they pulled it together in the playoffs.

According to the Daily Mail, Beckham wants to join the Chiefs. If he joins the Kansas City Chiefs, it could mean that Kardashian and Swift will be supporting the same team next season.

There have been ongoing rumours that Kardashian and Beckham are dating. They were seen together at Jay-Z and Beyonce’s Oscars afterparty last week.

Swift has become a regular face in the VIP boxes at Arrowhead Stadium, cheering on her boyfriend Kelce. It’s not known if Kardashian would also go to games to support Beckham, but if she does, she might have an awkward meeting with Swift because of their past disagreements.

Kardashian and Swift have had a rocky relationship since 2016 when Kardashian’s ex-husband, rapper Kanye West, released a song called ‘Famous’ that included a rude line about Swift. Swift was upset by the lyric, but West said he had talked to her on the phone and she had agreed to it. Kardashian then shared part of the phone call, but Swift said she didn’t know West would call her a ‘b****’.

Back in December, Swift talked about the incident when she was chatting with TIME. She had just been named Person of the Year.

Swift said about the recorded chat that came out: “You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar.”

“That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls.”
